My name is Rachel and I am 15 years old. My uncle is the pastor here at Stateline. My whole family almost is Pentecostal and I was raised in church. A couple of years back my mom stopped coming to church, but still encouraged me to. Of course, temptation is extremely hard to overcome, so, I gradually stopped coming as well. It came to the point that I was the total opposite of Pentecost. Whatever I was taught when I was young, I seemed to do the complete opposite. Of course I have always been told it always gets worse before it gets better and it did...It got much worse. I smoked, I drank, and I did a lot of other things I'm not proud of and not many people know. But one night I was at my best friend's house(who knows nothing about Pentecost) and I looked at her and said, "I think I'm gonna go to church tomorrow." ...and I did. That was April 27 that I decided I wanted again what I once had. That was almost a month ago. It's amazing how much God can change you. And change IS possible even when you think there is no possible way you can. With God, all things ARE possible.
